Adelanto Car Accident: Three killed Named, three others injured in a Friday morning crash on El Mirage Road in San Bernardino County, CA
A tragic head-on collision on the outskirts of Adelanto early Friday morning, February 7, 2025, claimed the lives of three people and left three others injured.
Authorities reported that the crash took place around 5:38 a.m. on El Mirage Road, west of Koala Road.
The accident involved a red Honda sedan, driven by a lone occupant, and a dark-gray 2001 Chevy Tahoe carrying five passengers. The driver of the Honda and two occupants of the Tahoe, including a rear passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A male passenger from the SUV who sustained life-threatening injuries was airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital. The remaining two passengers were transported to local hospitals by ambulance for treatment.
Preliminary findings suggest the SUV was traveling westbound while the sedan was heading eastbound when, for unknown reasons, the sedan veered into oncoming traffic, leading to the fatal crash.
El Mirage Road remained closed in both directions between Richardson Avenue and Koala Road for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation.
The San Bernardino County Coroner has been notified, and the victims’ identities will be released once their families have been informed. The investigation is ongoing.
