Brandon Michael Dickerson Arrested: Bryan Man Charged with Murder After Allegedly Killing Common-Law Wife

Brandon Michael Dickerson, 29, has been arrested and charged with murder following the fatal shooting of his common-law wife, 24-year-old Alexis Walls, in their home.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday in the 500 block of East 18th Street.

According to court documents, Dickerson called 911 around 12:40 a.m. to report that he had just killed his wife. Upon arrival, Bryan Police officers found Walls deceased inside the residence with multiple gunshot wounds. Dickerson was taken into custody at the scene without incident.

Investigators revealed that Dickerson confessed to shooting Walls 15 times because he suspected her of infidelity. The couple’s 18-month-old child was present in the home during the shooting but was unharmed. Child Protective Services have been notified and are involved in the case.

Dickerson is currently held in the Brazos County Jail on a $250,000 bond, facing charges of murder. Authorities believe this was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

This tragic event has prompted local organizations to emphasize the importance of domestic violence awareness and the availability of resources for those in need. Community members are encouraged to seek help if they or someone they know is experiencing domestic violence.
