The driver, 47-year-old Shentell Brown, and her husband, 60-year-old Kevin Brown, were engaged in a verbal altercation while in the vehicle. The altercation escalated quickly, with Kevin Brown pulling out a firearm. In a shocking turn of events, Kevin Brown shot his wife, Shentell, multiple times.
Tragically, Shentell Brown succumbed to her injuries, leaving her loved ones and the community in a state of disbelief. After shooting his wife, Kevin Brown turned the gun on himself, taking his own life in what police are now confirming as a murder-suicide.
