Jenny Wiederholt Pine, age 44, of Hastings, passed away suddenly but peacefully at Regina Medical Center on the morning of Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Her unexpected departure has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. Jenny was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and a dear friend to many.

Born on August 12, 1980, in Hastings, Jenny grew up surrounded by the warmth of her family and the close-knit community she always held dear. She attended Hastings High School, where she excelled academically and was involved in various extracurricular activities, forming lifelong friendships along the way.

After graduating, she pursued her passion for helping others, earning her degree in nursing. She dedicated her career to providing compassionate care to those in need, working as a registered nurse for over two decades.

Jenny’s kindness, generosity, and infectious laughter were among her most defining qualities. She had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved. Whether it was through her work, volunteer efforts, or simply lending an ear to a friend in need, she always put others first.

Jenny was deeply devoted to her family. She married the love of her life, Mark Pine, in 2005, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, adventure, and unwavering support for one another.

Their home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of raising their two children, Emily and Jacob. Jenny took immense pride in being a mother and found great joy in watching her children grow and succeed.

Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miesville. She actively participated in church events and found solace in her faith during difficult times. Her dedication to her beliefs and her unwavering strength served as an inspiration to many.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miesville, with Father Michael Tix officiating. A private family interment will take place at the parish cemetery.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings. There will not be a public visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday morning.
