Gina Galletto, affectionately known as “Gi Gi,” was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her infectious laughter and joyful spirit had the power to brighten even the darkest of days. For 19 years, Gina served as a dedicated flight attendant, primarily operating out of Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). In this role, she not only ensured the safety and comfort of her passengers but also touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness.
Beyond her aviation career, Gina was a passionate entrepreneur. She founded OCDwithGNG, a professional organizing and lifestyle coaching business based in Greece, New York. As a professional certified organizer and lifestyle coach, Gina specialized in helping individuals and businesses organize, customize, and declutter their spaces.
Her approach focused on minimizing clutter and maximizing living areas, offering personal coaching to clients to maintain this newfound serenity. She was particularly dedicated to serving older adults and families, assisting them with organizing, downsizing, and relocating. Her commitment to her clients was evident in the personalized care and attention she provided.
Gina’s entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when, during the challenging times of the pandemic, she bravely launched OCDwithGNG. Her efforts were recognized by the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce, which celebrated the one-year anniversary of her business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This event was attended by notable figures, including New York State Senator Jeremy Cooney and Assemblyman Josh Jensen, underscoring the impact of her work on the community.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Gina was an active member of the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce. She participated in various networking events, sharing her expertise and building connections with fellow business professionals. Her involvement in the community extended beyond her business, as she was known for her generosity and willingness to support others.
Gina’s love for life was evident in her personal interests as well. She was an artist at heart and had a deep affection for dogs. However, it was the time spent with her family and friends that she cherished the most. Her home was often filled with laughter and warmth, a testament to the close bonds she maintained with her loved ones.
Tragically, Gina’s life was cut short, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy, however, lives on through the countless lives she touched, both in the skies and on the ground. Her dedication to her work, her entrepreneurial spirit, and her unwavering love for her family and community serve as an enduring inspiration.
