* Born in 1965, John grew up in Paramus and later the Bronx, where his passion for hospitality was born working at TJ’s Rib House.
* He honed his skills at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park before embarking on an illustrious career in New York City.
* For more than 20 years, John served as Corporate Director of Entertainment at Loews Hotels, overseeing top-tier venues such as 540 Park, The Library, and Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency Hotel.
Iachetti’s Kitchen & Community
* In 2018, John and his wife Cheryl opened Iachetti’s Kitchen at 918 Prospect Street, bringing their passion for hospitality and fresh ingredients to Glen Rock.
* The restaurant blended American cuisine with Italian flair—brick‑oven specialties, homemade mozzarella, inventive dishes like short‑rib flatbreads and Dr. Pepper‑glazed ribs—that quickly became local favorites.
