It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Assistant Coach of my Virginia State University basketball, Vernon Lee, who died in a tragic accident. He tragically passed away in a fatal road accident. His unwavering commitment and service to the community will be appreciated.
His coworker and the community he served are both extremely saddened by this loss. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult situation.
